God’s Love We Deliver #LetsFeedDowntown Block Party

God's Love We Deliver - the New York metropolitan area's leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses - is partnering with the Ear Inn - one of the oldest drinking establishments located in the historic James Brown House - to celebrate the establishment's historic 200th Anniversary. On Saturday, November 11 from 11am-7pm, The Ear Inn will host the ultimate #LetsFeedDowntown community block party, offering live music, food and drinks in hopes of raising $350k to "feed downtown" by funding the 35k nutritious meals that God's Love We Deliver will cook and deliver to its downtown neighbors and clients this year.

Holiday House NYC Gala benefitting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®

The 10th Annual Holiday House NYC Gala celebrates the best and brightest talent in interior design. Emmy award-winning chef, philanthropist and breast cancer survivor Sandra Lee will be recognized for her important charitable work and will conduct the ribbon cutting to officially open the 10th annual Holiday House just prior to the Opening Night Gala on Tuesday, November 14th. Design Chairs Alexa Hampton, Thom Filicia, and Honorary Chair Christopher Hyland will join Ms. Lee, Holiday House Founder Iris Dankner, and the esteemed roster of more than 20 designers on the opening night. Housing Works’ Fashion for Action

On November 16, 2017, nonprofit organization Housing Works will host their 14th annual Fashion for Action benefit event, which will bring together iconic individuals who will lend their talent, style, and support for an evening of crucial fundraising. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with VIPs while sipping cocktails and shopping nearly $2 million in donated merchandise, all marked 50-70% off retail. Sangria Art Reception featuring Eduardo Anievas Open Studio

Painter Eduardo Anievas will have a two-day open studio event on Saturday, November 18th from 12-8pm and Sunday, November 19th from 12-6pm, as part of the LIC Arts Open Festival’s Fall Open Studios. Anievas will display fifty paintings including a new series of NYC cityscapes and large portraits. Anievas Studio is located street level at 10-15 48th Avenue between Vernon Blvd and 11th Street. By subway it’s the first stop in Queens on the 7, E, M, and G trains. Eduardo hosts with a familiar Spanish style, offering sangria and tapas on the house and welcoming visitors to get to know him and each other. Annual Tree Lighting Skate-tacular at Bank of America Winter Village @ Bryant Park
