Pathways: Blurring the Lines

Agora Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Pathways, an exhibition featuring the works of Enrico Ambrosio, Westby and Mercier, Lorena Becerra, Anita Birkenfeld, Hanneke Kempers, Nancy McLean, Iva Milanova, Frédérique Négrié, Alaleh Ostad, Elke Riedel, Rody, Svetlana Sintseva, and Bekir Smolski. Through a survey of the diverse oeuvres of the aforementioned thirteen artists, Pathways examines how art can blur the lines between fantasy and reality. For example, Enrico Ambrosio’s digital explosions of color and light are contrasted with Nancy Mclean’s dynamically textured, whimsical adaptations of everyday scenes and objects. Meanwhile, Alaleh Ostad reinterprets traditional landscape scenes by transforming them into dynamic, abstract compositions through energetic swirls of oil paint on canvas. Summer Search Soiree

Lotte New York Palace Hosts Steve Cohen’s 5,000th ‘Chamber Magic’ Show

For the past 17 years, renowned magician Steve Cohen has wowed crowds from all over the world with his ‘Chamber Magic’ show, and on Friday, October 6, Lotte New York Palace will host his 5,000th show. “Baseball in Black and White: The Watercolors of James Fiorentino”
