Voices of September 11th 9th Annual Always Remember Gala

Honorees: James Clapper, Former U.S. Director of National Intelligence Herm Edwards, ESPN NFL Analyst and Former Head Coach, NY Jets Cocktails, Dinner, Dessert Reception Voices of September 11th (VOICES) was co-founded in 2001 by Mary Fetchet, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and is currently led by Mary and her husband Frank, whose 24 year old son Brad perished on 9/11. The organization provides a wide range of support services for all those impacted by 9/11, commemorates the lives lost and promotes national preparedness. More recently, VOICES Center of Excellence for Community Resilience assists communities in preparing for and responding to acts of terrorism, mass violence and natural disasters, both in the United States and abroad. Lupus Handbag Luncheon and Silent Auction

The Eighth Annual Lupus Handbag Luncheon will draw more than 400 fashionable, philanthropic, professional and influential women (who love to shop!). The luncheon will feature a fantastic silent (but lively!) auction of over 100 handbags, all donated by premiere boutiques and designers. Additionally, attendees will be able to bid on vintage and gently used handbags donated by our celebrity friends. This year, we will be honoring Claudia Cividino, CEO, Americas, of Bally, as our Woman of Achievement. Andrea Abrams will serve as Luncheon Chair. 5th Annual Walk for Kids Growth, NY

Come ALL and Walk for Kids Growth on Sunday, April 09, 2017! Help increase awareness of childhood growth disorders, and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment! The fun-filled day will include a 3-mile fun walk, free food, giveaways, display booths, and live performances by some of NY's hottest performers. All ages and leashed pets are welcome! Ellen Levine, former Editorial Director at Hearst Magazines, will lead a wide-ranging conversation with pioneering mental health researchers Dolores Malaspina, M.D. and Myrna Weissman, Ph.D., at the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation’s Women Breaking the Silence About Mental Illness Luncheon Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. reception; 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. luncheon at the Metropolitan Club, One East 60th Street, Manhattan. The luncheon will raise money to help the Foundation—the top non-governmental funder of mental health research—accomplish its mission to alleviate the suffering caused by mental illness by funding research that will lead to better diagnosis and treatment. 2017 NYC 5K SCHLEP: Breast and Ovarian Cancer Run / Walk

The NYC 5K SCHLEP: Breast and Ovarian Cancer Run / Walk is a certified 5K that brings together hundreds of participants from the New York tri-state area, ranging in age from 6 - 90 years old, bound together in solidarity to raise the hopes of those battling breast and ovarian cancer as well as awareness and funds to help further research and treatment. The NYC 5K SCHLEP Run / Walk benefits a BRCA Multidisciplinary Clinic to serve women at high risk of breast and ovarian cancer and funds research to find cures for breast and ovarian cancers.
