We are heading toward the end of Summer. This will be our last Art show for the year and will focus on our Artists Allies Film Festivals for the rest of the year.
This Art Show called BED PEACE will feature a tribute to The John Lennon & Yoko One Bed-in of 1969.
As the Vietnam War raged in 1969, Yoko Ono and her husband John Lennon held two week-long Bed-Ins for Peace, one at the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam and one in Montreal, each of which were intended to be non-violent protests against wars, and experimental tests of new ways to promote peace. The idea is derived from a “sit-in”, in which a group of protesters remains seated in front of an establishment until they are evicted, arrested, or their demands are met.
The public proceedings were filmed, and later turned into a documentary movie. The film Bed Peace was made available for free on YouTube in August 201 by Yoko Ono, as part of her website “Imagine Peace”
Actors will reinact the famous Bed-In and will answer questions as “John & Yoko” did…

Art is the edification of reality; it strips away the superficial attributes that we unconsciously give to the everyday objects emotions and events in our individual worlds.
We seek out artists for the benefit of enriching the lives of both Artists and their environment.
You are invited to join us on our journeys.
